Godoma Technical Training Institute is headed by a Board of Management (BOM). This Board undertakes its mandate in accordance with the Education Act (Cap 211). It is headed by a Chairman with wide experience in the management of Technical Education and draws its membership from outstanding members of the Kenyan society.

Specifically, The Board sets out internal policies and development priorities for the institute and approves the budget for both recurrent and development expenditure. The BOM is also responsible for the implementation of government policies and approving the Institutional Curriculum.

The Principal is the Chief Executive of the Institute and Secretary to the Board. She is responsible for the day-to-day management of the institute on behalf of and in consultation with the BoG.
